Like most, we’re big fans of the music streaming service Spotify. The service has only been available in the U.S. for a short four months, but it’s already become a staple of the everyday routine. But now the service is getting ready to announce something big, if you’re to believe the release the company sent out this morning.
Early Monday morning Spotify sent out invites for an event on the 30th hosted by CEO Daniel Ek with “a special guest or two”. There’s no indication what the announcment is, and the invite doesn’t give any clues.
More label partners? A new premium tier? What do you think it could be?.
Ooh! I doubt it’s more label partners, but it would be AWESOME if it were! The Arcade Fire are conspicuously missing from my Spotify playlists.
