The iPhone 4S may be young, but it’s a hit! As this is written, we’re not even 24 hour into the release of the new iPhone 4s and it’s already creating a fervor in gadget loving circles. Earlier this week it was announced that over 1 million iPhone 4s’ were pre-ordered within the first 24 hours of availability. The number is slightly inflated, as this time around the phone is available on three carriers instead of just two, but the jump from 600,000 pre orders total for the iPhone 4 to 1 million for the 4s is a significant jump.
And if the Lines at retailers around the globe are any indication, Apple has done ‘it’ again. Across the world, people waited outside of Apple stores, Best Buys and multiple other vendors to pick up the new handset.
